Arrive Tehran airport from Frankfurt; greetings and transfer to Howeyzeh Hotel (2 nights)
Day 02, Tehran - SefidAb:
Drive via Varamin to Qasr-e Bahram caravanserai and continue to Siahkuh
mountain. There hike for 2 hours and try to see gazelles or other animals.
Continue along Great Salt lake to ruins of Shah Abbas hunting palace of
Sefidabad. Arrive at Sefid Ab ranger station. O/N in tent.
Day 03, SefidAb - Marandjab:
Drive to Great sand dunes direction Marenjab. In sanddunes hike 3 hours.
Continue to Marenjab. Make excursion by car on surface of Great salt lake
on tracks of salt carrying trucks. Return to Marenjab. O/N caravanserai
/ tent
Day 04, Marandjab - Daran:
Drive via Aran to Kashan. Visi Bazaar and Fin-Garden. Continue via Delijan,
Gugad, Khonsar to Daran. Tourist Inn
Day 05, Daran - Kuhrang valley:
Drive via Dimeh, Chelgerd to Kuhrang valley. Hike 3 hours to Kuhrang spring.
Make contacts with nomads (end May to September). O/N tent.
Day 06, Kuhrang valley - Bazoft valley:
Drive via BidAmin, Samsami into Bazoft valley make contact with nomads
and after Durak hike for 4 hours in mountainous area. O/N tent.
Day 07, Bazoft valley - Isfahan:
Drive via Shahr-e Kord to Isfahan. Visit Chehel Sotun palace and make
evening stroll along old bridges. Espadana or Azadi Hotel (2 nights)
Day 08, Isfahan:
Full day city tour in Isfahan, visit Imam & Sheikh Lotfollah Mosques,
Ali Qapu, in the afternoon stroll in Bazaar and free time.
Day 09, Isfahan - Persepolis - Shiraz:
Drive to Shiraz. En route visit Persepolis and N. Rostam. In the evening
see Shah Cheragh Sanctuary (interior part not accessible). Eryo Barzan
Hotel
Day 10, Shiraz - Meymand:
Visit Hafez-Mausoleum. Drive along Maharlu and Bakhtegan lakes via Neyriz,
Harat, Shahr-e Babak to Meymand. Stroll in this unusual cave village.
O/N in cave-room or in tent.
Day 11, Meymand - Kerman:
Drive via Rafsanjan to Kerman. Visit Ganj AliKhan complex with caravanserai,
small beautiful mosque, hammam museum and bazaar. Akhavan Hotel.
Day 12, Kerman - Rayen - Mahan - Lut desert:
Drive to Rayen, visit mudbrick fortress. Return to Mahan, visit Sufi mausoleum
and Shahzdeh garden. Continue via Shahdad to Shafiabad. O/N camp.
Day 13, Lut desert - Kerman:
Drive via DehSeyf to wonderful Kalut area. Make 3 hours hike. Drive via
DehSeyf, Shahdad back to Kerman. Akhavan Hotel
Day 14, Kerman
- Tehran:
Noon time flight to Tehran. Visit two sights in Golestan Palace and/ or
walk in Mellat Park. Farewell dinner at a traditional restaurant. If the
noon time flight will not be reinstated and only the afternoon flight
is possible, visit more sights in Kerman: Jame Mosque , Gonbade Jabaliyeh,
Moshtaqieh sufi mausoleum. Howeyzeh Hotel
Day 15, Tehran:
Transfer to the international airport for departure flight.
